Zurücksehen im Vorangehen - Gisela Weimann

In Villa Pellé, a dada-futurist performance by acclaimed German artist Gisela Weimann comes to life. As part of the ongoing exhibition Gisela Weimann: Looking Back While Moving Forward, musicians and performers will animate the exhibited “wearables” – costumes and masks that ironically comment on the sci-fi and hi-tech interfaces of technocratic dreamers. The program includes Pauline Oliveros’ unique composition Pea-ce Soup, featuring Weimann’s sound helmets made from pots and cutlery in which a nuclear conflict is “cooking.” Expect an eccentric music and dance experience blending scenography, sound, and live art.
