Apollo 11 is a performance based on the authentic transcript of communication between the crew of the legendary Moon landing and NASA's mission control. In a minimalist staging, it brings to life moments of tension, technical precision, and human fragility that defined humanity’s first landing on the Moon. The material is based on publicly available NASA archives and captures not only the historical success, but also the immense risk – including the contingency funeral speech prepared by President Nixon.
