Xiu Xiu - Eraserhead

After the success of Plays the Music of Twin Peaks, Xiu Xiu return with ERASERHEAD XIU XIU – a new live performance accompanied by film. Using field recordings, custom-built instruments, organs, modular synthesizers, voices, lights, and elements of musique concrète, the group captures the bizarre emotionality and relentless darkness of Lynch’s cult classic. Xiu Xiu expand on the sonic world of Alan Splet and David Lynch, creating an imaginary “unused footage” prism through which sound and vision intertwine. The result is a radical, intimate, and unsettling immersion into the realm of the midnight movie – both an homage and a bold continuation.
